

Born on July 27, 1980, in Tempe, Arizona, Tisha was the beloved daughter of Antonio and Alice Hernandez. She was a devoted mother to five children, Angelina Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Isaiah Hernandez, Marcos Ayala-Hernandez and Fiancé Gissell Avila; a proud grandmother to two grandchildren, Maximiliano Hernandez and Gianina Hernandez; a loving sister to Elicia and Adam Hernandez; daughter in law to Jose Luis and Susana Chavez; and a life partner to Miguel for 24 years. Tisha’s family was her heart, and her love for them was limitless.
Tisha was known for her caring, kind nature, and her radiant smile, often highlighted by her signature dimples. She had an infectious energy that brightened the lives of everyone around her. Tisha was a lover of life, always spreading joy and warmth wherever she went. Whether she was supporting her children, enjoying time with her grandchildren, or spending time with loved ones, Tisha's presence was always felt and cherished.
Tisha had a deep love for Halloween, a time when she could express her creativity and share her passion for spooky fun. She also enjoyed collecting Day of the Dead artifacts, a beautiful reflection of her respect for cultural traditions. Tisha admired the art of Frida Kahlo, and her home was filled with pieces that captured the strength, beauty, and spirit she saw in Kahlo's work. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, and these vibrant hues reflected the lively and joyful spirit that defined her.
Visitation will be held February 6, 2025, from 6:00pm-8:00pm with Rosary a 7:00pm at Resthaven Carr/Tenney. Funeral Mass will be held on February 7, 2025, at 11:00am at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
Tisha’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her kindness, laughter, creative spirit, and loving presence will continue to inspire and touch the lives of everyone she leaves behind.
