Travis grew up in Ahwatukee, Arizona, where he made lifelong memories with his siblings and friends. He graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in 2000 and later pursued education in Manufacturing Technology from Mesa Community College. He went on to build a 26-year career manufacturing in the aerospace industry, working as an inspector and trainer and teaching advanced welding performance technologies. Travis learned valuable skills from his dad that influenced both his trade and the way he approached his work.
He had a love of travel and adventure. Anyone who spent time with Travis knew that his laugh and fun was contagious. Along with contract employment in Iraq, Travis travelled in the Middle East and enjoyed visiting Australia, the Caribbean, and Mexico. No matter how far he traveled, he always enjoyed returning to Kansas to spend time at the family farm and with loved ones there.
More than anything, Travis will be remembered for his big smile and his love for family and friends. He was funny, kind, generous, and caring, and he had a special gift for making people feel warm and welcome in his presence. He enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for others, playing golf, and relaxing with a cold Coors Light. Cactus Jack’s Tavern in Ahwatukee was his favorite watering hole. He also dearly loved his dog, Zona. Strong in his Christian faith, Travis was a member of Friendship Community Church in Ahwatukee.
Travis is survived by his mother, Patricia Hall of Phoenix; brother, Jason (Briana) Hall of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his sister, Mindy (Chris) Colloca of Sterling, New York; and his nieces, Teagan and Annabelle Hall and Melia Colloca; his nephews, Kai and Nico Colloca; and many friends and relatives who loved him deeply. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig Hall, and his uncles, Dennis Byxbe and Randy Hall.
Travis’s legacy lives in his kindness, generosity, and the way he cared for others. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cactus Jack’s Tavern in Ahwatukee on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at noon. A graveside service will be held in Benton, Kansas Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 10am.
