

Angel Johnathan Gomez, 28, of Gardena, CA passed away on April 29, 2025. Born on January 30, 1997, in Los Angeles, CA. Angel lived a vibrant life marked by strength, humor, and unwavering love for his family, friends, and country.
Angel enjoyed a joyful childhood, filled with the simple pleasures of youth. He excelled in school, graduating high school with determination and a desire to serve. Proudly joining the U.S. Army as an active-duty soldier, Angel earned the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, and Army Service Ribbon. Known as a leader and problem-solver, he tackled challenging projects with courage and commitment.
Angel’s personality shone brightly—he was strong, funny, loving, and caring. His hobbies reflected his diverse spirit: reading, gaming, cycling, skateboarding, playing guitar, and immersing himself in anime. A devoted brother, Angel cherished time with his family and friends, especially his two nieces and two nephews, whom he adored. He often spoke of his dream to one day start his own family. A spiritual man, Angel found strength in his faith and the word of God.
Angel is survived by his loving mother, father, sister, brother, two nieces, and two nephews. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on May 13, 2025, at Funeraria Del Angel, Pico Rivera, CA.
