Born to Carmen Valle and Armando Quintana on December 10, 1988 in Montebello, California, Francisco Quintana was the middle of three children. His siblings are Armando Quintana Jr. and Alejandro Quintana. Throughout his life, Francisco was a hard working, honor student who played in the Warren High School Band. In his later years, he became a Ralphs’ employee and also served as a tutor. His dreams consisted of transferring to a Cal State University and eventually becoming a lawyer. Frankie was an esteemed son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. During his mother’s final days, he cared for her tenderly with compassion and love. Meanwhile, during his own final days, he persevered for his life in such an admirable, respectable manner. Despite his condition, Francisco lived his life to the fullest, continuing to play sports, hang out with his friends, and not let his circumstances hinder his life. He was down to earth, got along with everybody, was funny, sports-oriented, and a strong fighter. He will be remembered for being a loving son and brother. Francisco passed away in the presence of his most dear, loved ones, his father and brothers on the night of June 24, 2012. He was 23 years old. Francisco has greatly influenced our lives with his fighting spirit. May he forever rest in peace as he lives in our thoughts, prayers, and memories.
