Mr. Ochoa had many friends and kept in touch with some of his army buddies. He was a man with great integrity and was well respected by many. He was a very dedicated hard working man who provided well and as much as he could for his family. Those who knew him or met him would never forget him. He was a proud man, his handshake and word was as good as a written contract, and he took a person at their word and honesty. He never judged a person and I never heard him gossip about anyone or their actions…In fact, he never liked it when he heard others gossip. He was a loving husband and was truly devoted to his wife. She was the love of his life and his best friend. He was a very caring and gentle Father and Grandfather that placed great emphasis on faith, truth, integrity and personal discipline.
Mom and Dad had a wonderful and fulfilling life together, it wasn't easy by any means but theirs was a love story that lasted till death they did part. Dad was heartbroken when mom died. His pain and emptiness without mom was far too unbearable for his heart to handle. It broke our hearts the morning his heart stopped but, we knew he was in a better place, with the love of his life, in God's kingdom of paradise.
He will be missed as a loving friend, father, grandfather, great grandfather, godfather, brother and uncle. But we'll meet him again when he welcomes us home, at the gates of Heaven. In loving memory of a great man.
