Dear Grandma,   
Some of my best memories include you. You were a gentle soul with a calm, quiet nature, but I will never forget your hugs. They were always the same throughout the years — so strong and so loving. Even as an adult, they conveyed a sense of security and made me feel like I was home. And to me, home meant running around your backyard with my cousins, spending the night at your house with my sisters, spending holidays at your house, receiving handmade robes, pj’s, and sweaters, your amazing cooking, my CareBear, going to Ports’O Call as a kid, and working on my first big puzzle at your dining room table. Too many feelings and memories to fit in this box. These memories are an integral part of me and I will carry them forever. I am proud to be your granddaughter.

Grandma was such a wonderful grandmother. She was so thoughtful, she never missed a birthday, and always made us feel special no matter our age.

A lifetime of teaching, guiding, loving and being there for all of us. That is who you have always been to me. You taught us to do the right thing and was the perfect example of being a good person.  Your love for dad, the 3 of us, your nieces & nephews, grand-children and great grand-children was phenomenal. You even asked by name how each grandchild was in your final months of your long life.  You never stopped being a mom and I’ll never forget your final words of wisdom you shared with me in our last visit together. Even though your health was failing, you were still in “mom mode” caring for your loved ones, concerned about all of us, ensuring we take care of dad in your absence.  We were blessed to have you for so long and now we had to let you go to a better place for eternal happiness. You will always be in my heart and someday we will be together again.  I love you Mom!

Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother all of these you are .....to me, you were the Best Mother-in-law in the world !  You were a great example of how live life and how to treat others. Your overwhelming love for our family, the patience and kindness you have always shown to everyone you knew, will live in our hearts forever. My favorite thing about you was watching you  talk/listen  to your grandkids and great -grandkids. You always had a way with making them feel like they were the only person in the room, giving them your undivided attention. and making them feel so special. I will do my best to honor your memory by loving my family as deeply as you have and to continue your traditions of  holiday dinners with a table full of people that love one another as much as you loved us all ! Mom I have so many memories of you I can't think of where to start. From the time I was a child to now. You have been the biggest part of my life. I could not be the person that I am if it wasn't for your love and inspiration. You have always been a role model to me on how I should be. I will miss your beautiful smile and the way your eyes sparkle when I saw you. You will forever be in my heart and mind. May God bless you for eternity. I know you and Virginia will watch over us all. ❤

Where do I start. So many memories. The early years before you started work watching over Jim, Wayne and I. My first day at kindergarten then on to first grade at Resurrection. Helping with reading, writing and math. Typing my term papers. Always being there for me. So many things to thank you for. I will miss you, but I will always treasure my memories.

Grandma and Zacky at her and grandpas 70th anniversary party in October...  Caught these two hanging out and they were both so smiley. Grandma loved having so many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved just sitting there listening to us talk and watching the little ones play.

Sending love to Uncle Jim and Jimmy, Patrick and Wayne.  My family enjoyed the times Uncle Jim and Aunt Virginia would visit.  And my dad was proud of his younger sister. Hugs.
