Anne Marie Cavalier, 88, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann Cavalier Thibodaux; six sons: Wallace, Fabian, Burton, Haywood, Dale and Jimmy Cavalier; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ulysse P. Cavalier; two sons, Ulysse Jr. and Joseph Sr. Cavalier; parents, Domingue and Alice Cavalier; five sisters and four brothers. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor of Napoleonville and Cardinal Hospice. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 5:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 8:00 a.m –9:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow.
