April Ann Breaux

February 2, 1968 – August 31, 2021

April was born February 2, 1968 in Pierre Part, La to Hanson and Catherine “Cat” Breaux. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family August 31, 2021 at the age of 53.

April was a beautiful soul. She loved to watch Young and the restless and sending text messages daily to her family and friends. She also enjoyed puzzle books, watching her nieces, nephews and friends children. She had an absolute love for her family, friends and all that she knew.

April is survived by her son Stewart Burnett, her spouse of 27 years Clayton Burnett; her mom Catherine “Cat” Breaux and spouse Roy Mitchell; five siblings, Alvis “Boogie” Breaux Sr. and wife Melinda, Duane Breaux and wife Marcie, Merriel Breaux, Aimie McAdams and husband Greg, Travis “Pot” Breaux and wife Kelly. She is also survived by her grandparents Adele Breaux and Judy McAdams; 14 nieces and nephews, Sandra Clasen, Daniel “Tweet” Breaux Jr., Alvis “Buddy” Breaux Jr., Justin Clement, Stormy Breaux, Chelsie Breaux, Stephanie Breaux, Dominic Breaux, Mesha Jackson, Mallory Metrejean, Myla Brand, Kort McAdams, Autumn McAdams, and Chandler Breaux; great nieces and nephews Cameron and Daiten Breaux, Blakely Grace, Chandler, Carter, and Conner Perry. She will be sadly missed by her close friend Melanie Newman and her best friends Madonna Saltzman Guilbeaux and Marilyn Metrejean. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles.

April is preceded in death by her father Hanson Breaux; one brother; Steven Breaux; grandparents, Stephene Breaux, Agnes Ruiz, Alves Haynes, and Leroy McAdams.

A memorial for April will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 9 am until 12 pm with a service at 12 pm at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part.
