George Paul Michel

A resident of Evangeline, LA and native of Pierre Part, George passed away at his home on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the age of 63.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Breaux; three daughters, Holly Michel Morales, Hannah Michel Turner and husband, Steven, and Misty Breaux Legros and husband, Darren; son, Conrad Breaux and partner, Darrell Fruge; two brothers, Nolan Michel and Claude Michel and wife, Cheryl; and grandchildren, Jacie Morales, Caleb Breaux, Cole Breaux, and soon to be baby Bryson Turner; three nieces, Tessie Landry and husband, Max, Jennifer Templet and husband, Jermey, and Amanda Hue and husband, Clint. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Bernice Hue Michel. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting resumes on Tuesday from 8 am until religious services in the funeral home at 11 am. Entombment to follow in St. Joseph the Worker Mausoleum, Pierre Part. Pallbearers will be Claude Michel, Ernest Landry, Conrad Breaux, Eric Hue, Charles Hue, Sr., and Steven Turner. Cole Breaux, Nolan Michel, Caleb Breaux, and Gilbert “Neg” Aucoin will serve as honorary pallbearers.
