Gertie Hebert

She worked at the Pierre Part Store for 10 years. She enjoyed going fishing for catfish on Lake Verret. She also loved cooking, going to the casino and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by three sons, Greg (Terry), Dale (Debra) and Mark; five grandchildren; Ashley (Brett), Andrea, Abby (Brett), Austin (Brandy) and Alex (Meghan); eleven great-grandchildren, Zane, Katie, Avery, Brantley, Brogan, Dawson, Tucker, Sawyer, Kaiden, Emberly and Lila; two sisters, Mary Gaudet (Roy Sr.) and Mildred St. Germain; and brother, Roland Pintado (Janice); along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, O'Neil and Evia Pintado; her husband of 69 years, Eves Hebert; and sister, Nobie Landry (Willie).

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 9:30 am at Ourso Funeral Home until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. Interment to follow at the church mausoleum. Father Al Davidson will officiate.
