A resident of Opelousas and native of Paincourtville and longtime resident of Pierre Part, she passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She was 65. Lorraine loved to be with her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed camping, dancing, and listening to live music. She is survived by her son, Richie David Wells and his fiancée, Andrea Louviere; three sisters, Emelda Landry, Eve Domingue, and Loretta Duval; six brothers, Percy Sr., Dudley, Ivory Sr., Calvin, Cullen, and Dewey "D.J." Domingue, Jr.; and her two precious grandchildren, Levi Robert and Landon David Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey, Sr., and Eva Rivere Domingue; husbands, David Odell Wells and Paul "Rick" Benoit; sister, Eva Mae Rivere; and brothers, Adam Sr., Alphonse "A.J", and Carol Domingue, Sr. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part from 9 am until 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph the Worker at 11 am. Burial to follow on Belle River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank family and friends, especially Dave Landry and family for their immense support and help.
