Mary L. Cavalier

Mary Lee Mabile Cavalier, 75, took her place with the angels on Sunday, January 13, 2013. A native and resident of Pierre Part, LA. She is survived by a daughter, Dana Cavalier; three sons and daughters-in-law; Nickie and Bonnie Cavalier, Lonny and Tina Cavalier, Darren and Rhonda Cavalier; her grandchildren, Michael and wife Heather, Matthew, Tyler and fiancée Kelsie Mills, Shelbey, Sarah and Bryce Cavalier. She is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law Ella and Hubert Metrejean; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Audrey Theriot, Norman and Anna Mae Mabile, Thomas and Carrie Mabile, and sister-in-law Marilyn Clark Mabile and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Carol J Cavalier, parents Honore and Amelia Mabile; two sons Paul and Carol Cavalier Jr, a brother Sidney Mabile, foster brothers Stephen, Earnest and Algier Theriot. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Napoleonville and Dr. Keith Landry. Mary was a member of the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church choir and Ladies Alter Society. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant spending many years providing comfort to the elderly and their families. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.-1:45 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part. Mass of christian burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in church cemetery. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
