Rodney Paul Borne

Rodney Paul Borne, 58, native and resident of Pierre Part died on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Rodney was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather. Happiness was hearing "Paw Paw" echoing from his grandchildren. Everyone in his life was special to him. He never met a stranger, everyone became a friend. He loved nature. Fishing, hunting and being at the camp with famiy and friends were things he loved. He also enjoyed riding in his Mustang. Talented in anything he pursued, he was the owner of Anything Aluminum. Whatever he constructed was done with fine craftsmenship.

He is survived by his wife, Meryl Marie Mabile Borne, two sons, Neil Borne and Todd Borne and wife, Pilar Thompson Borne, six grandchildren, Tre', Emily, Tristan, Hunter, Ariana, and Isabel; one sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Vaughn Guidry, and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Shelly Borne, Herbert and Terry Borne, Wayne and Penny Borne and Rachel Templet, mother of his grandchildren, Tre' and Emily. Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Norris Borne and one sister in law, Teri Borne and father-in-law, Roy Mabile, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 6:00p.m. -9:00p.m. and Monday, January 18, 2016 from 8:00 a.m.-10:45am at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic church in Pierre Part. Interment to follow in church cemetery.
