Rose Ella Landry

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a devout Catholic. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, quilting, gambling and having yard sales as much as shopping at them!

She is survived by her two sons, Aubrey Landry Jr. (Cynthia) and James Landry Sr. (Rene); six grandchildren, Hannah Landry (Dylan), Trent Landry, Samantha Landry, Makenna Landry, Anthony Landry (Angelle), James Landry, Jr., and Audrey Poirrier (Mark); six great-grandchildren, Beau, Caileigh, Claire, Scarlet, Jayden and Cruz Landry; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Aubrey Landry Sr.; her parents, Alzie and Gibson Gaudet; son, Dennis Landry; and sister, Wilma Gaudet.

The pallbearers will be Kenneth St. Germain Jr., Trent Landry, Tony Landry, James Landry Jr., and Samantha Landry.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hope Hospice, Dr. Eric Gravois, Miranda Chedotal and Alaina Landry for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Ourso Funeral Home until the Mass of Christian Burial for 11:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part. Interment will follow at St. Joseph the Worker Mausoleum. Father Al Davidson will be officiating.
