

Sydney Michelle Landry, 15, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away tragically on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Sydney was so full of life, always smiling and making friends. She never met a stranger. Sydney was a member of the Oaklawn Color Guard for two years which she enjoyed. She had a passion for singing and music. Sydney was known as the “Selfie Queen." Sydney leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Tanya and wife, Tonya Harrod; father, Jessie Landry Jr., and wife, Sherill; four sisters, Aleria Landry, Jordan Gautreaux, Shalena Scribner, and Shadah Gaspard; one brother, Jensen Landry; grandparents, Dianne Landry, Victoria Zeringue, Ronald William Sr., Lenes “Pawpaw Pops” Boudreaux; numerous aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Jessie Landry Sr., and Kenneth “Ziggy” Zeringue; one Aunt Connie Ann Landry. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
