
Ted Paul Cavalier, 56, died on Friday, February 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Pierre Part. Ted fully enjoyed life, LSU games, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Juanita Hebert Cavalier; one son, Trent Michael Cavalier; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Lisa Cavalier and Chad and Theresa Cavalier; one niece and nephew, Nikki and Brandon Cavalier; six aunts and uncles, Kathleen and Tom Simoneaux, Margaret and Ray Dubois, Glen and Tiffney Crochet, Georgana and Russell Metrejean, Sidney and Vivian Cavalier, and Hepburn Cavalier; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Virgis Crochet Cavalier and Harold “Pee Wee” Cavalier; grandparents, Joseph and Virginia Crochet and Sydney and Bertha Cavalier; six uncles, Albert Cavalier, Wesley Cavalier, Carol Cavalier, Caroll Crochet, Rudy Crochet, and Calvin Crochet; and one cousin, Gerard Dubois.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Belle River.
