Ulysse P. Cavalier

Ulysse Paul Cavalier, 91, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016. Ulysse loved to spend time with all his children, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie Cavalier; one daughter, Betty Ann Cavalier Thibodaux; sons: Wallace Paul Cavalier, Fabian Joseph Cavalier, Burton Joseph Cavalier, and Haywood Joseph Cavalier; sister Elise Cavalier Daigle; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emile Cavalier and Locade Cavalier; 9 sisters, and 6 brothers. Pallbearers will be: Haywood Cavalier, Wallace Cavalier Jr., Sterling Thibodaux, Fabian Cavalier Jr., Joseph Cavalier Jr., and Rusty Mitchell. The family would like to thank the staff at Thibodeaux Regional Medical Center and Heritage Manor of Napoleonville. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 8:00 a.m –9:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow.
