Frances Virginia Jones, “Ginny” was called home to heaven on August 30th, just 2 weeks short of her 100th birthday (born on September 14th 1918). She was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Sam and Brightie Dickerson. Her long life was devoted to family, church, and home. She is now reunited and rejoicing with her husband of 48 years Warren D. Jones. Her surviving daughter Beverly Brown, granddaughter Christina Lennon (Eric) and two beloved great grandchildren Henry and Charlotte are blessed to have received the fierce love of this woman and will carry on with the tenacity and perseverance Ginny demonstrated over her 100 years.
Services held at Forest Lawn South on Tuesday September 4th at 11:00am with a celebration of life to follow.
