

Henry was born on September 10,1947 in Clarksville,TN. He attended St. Teresa School, Christopher Columbus High School, served in the United States Coast Guard, graduated from the University of Miami with a Business Degree, and started his own Medical Billing Company called, Automated Medical Billing.
Two of the happiest days of his life were welcoming his daughter Mary Elizabeth Keel and his son Andrew Michael Keel into this world. Henry, was a smart and respected business man and an entrepreneur at heart. He was known for his integrity and his commitment to his work. After retirement, Henry began working in Real Estate which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was a Real Estate Broker, State Certified Appraiser SRA, and served as a Broward County VAB Special Magistrate.
Henry was a devoted father, family man and loved his friends. He was an avid golfer, member of Riviera Country Club, a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed reading. He is a proud Gold Star father, member of the American Legion, Post #0400 and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1898
Henry is survived by his daughter, Mary Elizabeth Keel; his brother and sisters, John Keel, Mary Patricia Vincler, Kathleen Keel Riester, and Ruth Francis Keel; and longtime companion Charlene Glock and her family. He is preceded in death by his son Captain Andrew Keel who was KIA in Afghanistan on March 11, 2013.
Viewing and service will be held January 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kraeer Funeral Home located at 1199 E Sample Road, Pompano Beach. A military burial service is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. on Monday, January 19 at South Florida National Cemetery located at 6501 State Route 7, Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the USO in honor of him.
