Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Kraeer Funeral Home and Crematory located at 1199 E Sample Road, Pompano Beach, FL. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a 3:00 p.m. burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
Laura was born in Bronx, NY, on September 15, 1965, to David Dulisse and Rose Trozzo Dulisse. Laura grew up in Rockland County, New York and attended Temple University on a full academic and sports scholarship. Laura was an avid and accomplished bowler. In 1983 she was awarded the Alberta E Crowe Star of Tomorrow Award, which recognizes the top female amateur bowler with the highest academic achievements. She was then invited to bowl in the International Amateur Bowling 1984 Championship, where she came in 3rd place. This accomplishment lead her to be invited to The White House to have dinner with Ronald Reagan. She was the first female to bowl a perfect game of 300 in Rockland County, New York .
She then went on to compete in college and subsequently become a professional bowler. After graduating from college Laura met and married Adam Colavito. Their family was complete when Christopher was born on July 26, 2001. Christopher became the center and love of Laura's life. She enjoyed being a mother and a business woman. She went on to pursue her licensing in finance and became a VP at Stoever Glass and Corp. Inc. Laura enjoyed spending time with friends and family, exercising, the beach, travelling and most of all the stock market .
She is preceded in death by her father, David Dulisse, and will be laid to rest with him.
Laura is survived by her loving family; mother, Rose Dulisse; son, Christopher Colavito and his father, Adam Colavito; brother, Michael Dulisse; and sister, Nancy Dulisse.
