Lorraine Josephine Cote

Lorraine Josephine Cote, of Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Cote. Loving mother to William (Angela), James (Donna), Annette Handle, and Thomas. Dear grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and proud great-grandmother to fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Joseph Mack, sister Barbara Keppen, brothers-in-law Robert Keppen, Sylvester Delpaz and Robert Dickson. She is survived by her sisters, Joanne Delpaz and Carol Dickson.

She was born and raised in Detroit, where she met her husband of 63 years, Arthur Cote. She loved reading, had a lifelong love a learning, and enjoyed keeping up with current events. She had a good sense of humor and was never afraid of expressing her opinion.

She was a long-time parishioner at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Coral Springs, Florida. She remained active and energetic throughout her life, loved to walk and was a member of Silver Sneakers. She retired after working as a paralegal in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Lorraine will be missed by all who knew her.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13th at 1:00 pm at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, Florida.
