

Mel passed away on July 18, 2022.
Husband of Dorothy Gordon.
No words can describe how wonderful of a man Mel was to all of his friends, neighbors and family.
When Mel was 19 he decided to join the Army.
He was stationed at the 10th Mountain division in Colorado. He attended Temple University, BS in engineering. He worked at Motorola for over 25 years.
After retiring from Motorola, he thrived at serving his community, as a Lighthouse Point, Lieutenant COP (Citizens On Patrol).
Mel had several hobbies. He took great pleasure in blowing glass and making beautiful gifts for his family and friends. He enjoyed skiing and he belonged to the Gold Coast Ski Club. His other Hobbies were traveling, scuba diving and gardening.
Mel and Dot were so fortunate to have had 55 years of a wonderful life together. Those years will always be cherished.
Mel leaves behind his wife Dorothy of 55 years.
Brother Glen (Theresa), Sister in law Gloria, Niece Pride (Joe), Niece Tori (Billy), Nephew Mark (Sharon), Niece Heather (Vince), Nephew Larry (Jessica) and many great nieces and nephews.
Mel was preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Gordon

Although Mel Gordon passed away on July 18th, his soul will continue to live on through his family and friends
His celebration of life will be held Wednesday
August 3rd at 10 a.m. till 12 noon
A service will be at the Funeral home 12:00 till 12:30
