Alejandro Valencia Lopez, age 20, of Port Arthur, Texas, tragically passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Alejandro, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was known for his vibrant personality, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for his family.
Born and raised in Port Arthur, Alejandro was part of a family tradition that he cherished deeply. Alongside his brothers, he carried on the legacy his late father taught him of raising roosters with great care and pride. This tradition was close to his heart, as he spent countless hours tending to the birds, just as his father had done before him.
Alejandro had a passion for vehicles, especially motorcycles and trucks. His pride and joy was his black GMC with a dropped body, which he meticulously worked on for hours. He loved attending car shows, and his weekends were often spent traveling to car meets where he could bond with fellow enthusiasts and showcase his work. The roar of an engine and the gleam of a polished truck always brought a sparkle to his eye.
In his spare time, Alejandro enjoyed the thrill of dice games and gambling, always bringing a sense of fun to those around him. His presence was larger than life, and his infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of rooms.
Above all, Alejandro's love for his family was his defining trait. His brothers, parents, extended family, and friends were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Alejandro cherished all his friends, many of whom, became as close as family to him and they loved and supported each other with their endearing relationships. Alejandro's laughter, his energy, and his warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Alejandro is survived by his mother Maria Lopez; his brothers Oceal Valencia-Lopez, Angel Valencia-Lopez, Jayden Valencia-Lopez, and Allen Magana, who was like a brother, Yisel Lopez who was like a sister, and his brothers Adan Valencia-Iniguez, Emanuel Valencia, Michael Valencia, and Walter; his sister Raquel Valencia; his girlfriend of 7 years Millie Granados, his grandparents Israel Lopez Galvan, Juana Lopez and Secundino Valencia.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his father Ociel Valencia-Vargas, his grandmother Maria Luisa Vargas.
Alejandro also leaves behind numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, family members and friends to cherish his memory.
A Visitation and Rosary for Alejandro will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642. A catholic funeral mass to celebrate the life of Alejandro will occur Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 4600 Proctor St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
Alejandro will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX 77619-2859.
Serving as pallbearers are Oceal Valencia, Angel Valencia, Allen Magana, Jose Mora, David Alvarei, Jesus Lopez, Luis Magana, Jorge Lopez, and Israel Lopez.

Alejandro Valencia López, de 20 años, de Port Arthur, Texas, falleció trágicamente el martes 21 de enero de 2025. Alejandro, un hijo, hermano y amigo amado, era conocido por su personalidad vibrante, lealtad inquebrantable y profundo amor por su familia.
Nacido y criado en Port Arthur, Alejandro era parte de una tradición familiar que apreciaba profundamente. Junto con sus hermanos, continuó el legado que le enseñó su difunto padre de criar gallos con gran cuidado y orgullo. Esta tradición estaba cerca de su corazón, ya que pasaba incontables horas cuidando a los pájaros, tal como lo había hecho su padre antes que él.
Alejandro tenía pasión por los vehículos, especialmente las motocicletas y las camionetas. Su orgullo y alegría era su GMC negra con carrocería baja, en la que trabajaba meticulosamente durante horas. Le encantaba asistir a exhibiciones de autos y, a menudo, pasaba los fines de semana viajando a reuniones de autos donde podía relacionarse con otros entusiastas y exhibir su trabajo. El rugido de un motor y el brillo de una camioneta pulida siempre le hacían brillar los ojos.

A Alejandro le sobreviven su madre María López; sus hermanos Oceal Valencia-López, Ángel Valencia-López, Jayden Valencia-López y Allen Magana, que era como un hermano, Yisel López, que era como una hermana, y sus hermanos Adán Valencia-Íñiguez, Emanuel Valencia, Michael Valencia y Walter ; su hermana Raquel Valencia; su novia de 7 años Millie Granados, sus abuelos Israel López Galván, Juana López y Secundino Valencia.
A Alejandro le precedieron en la muerte su padre Ociel Valencia-Vargas, su abuela María Luisa Vargas.
A Alejandro también le sobreviven numerosos primos, tías, tíos, familiares y amigos que atesoran su memoria.
El velorio y el rosario de Alejandro se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 29 de enero de 2025, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., y el rosario a las 6:00 p. m. en Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642. El jueves 30 de enero de 2025, de 2:00 p. m. a 3:00 p. m., se celebrará una misa fúnebre católica para celebrar la vida de Alejandro, en la iglesia católica St Joseph, 4600 Proctor St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
