Beatrice Ella Jackson, 86, of Manteca, California formerly of Port Arthur passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at Manteca Kaiser Hospital. Beatrice was born March 26, 1924 in Port Arthur Texas and moved to California in 2001.
Beatrice is survived by her son, James L. Jackson; stepsons, Thomas C. Jackson & Fred W. Jackson, Jr.; daughters, JoAnn Hargrove and Minnie M. Calais; sisters, Adele Broussard and Isabelle Lopez; 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Jackson, brother, Robert G. Toups, Jr., and stepson, Gerald E. Jackson
A gathering of family and friends we will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011, from 5 p.m., until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home chapel.
