Our beloved wife and mother, Christine Marcia Lemonis (Yaya), 75, of Port Neches, passed away October 8, 2021. Christine was born in Chicago Illinois to Willard and Josephine Wright on December 26, 1945.
She attended Immaculata Catholic High School in Chicago and graduated in 1963. Early in her career she worked 15+ years in Billing and Administration for MD Anderson, Kingwood Hospital, Doctor’s Hospital, and Mid Jeff Hospital. She then joined the restaurant business alongside her husband and together they owned and managed multiple restaurants throughout the state of Texas with the most memorable being Primo’s Italian Restaurant and The Nederland Lunch Counter. In her spare time she enjoyed reading the newspaper, doing crossword puzzles, and was often seen chatting with customers over a cup of coffee in the restaurant. The thing she loved most was spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She never missed a soccer game or a cub scout meeting with her sons and was always their biggest cheerleader. She loved her family dearly and never hesitated in giving advice or a piece of her mind.
