Dorothy Toutcheque

Dorothy Touchet Toutcheque, 85, was born on March 7, 1927 in Iberia Parish, La. To the late Eloi and Marie Viator Touchet. She lived in New Iberia, La. Where she married Hewell Adam Toutcheque on June 17, 1945. The moved to Port Arthur in 1951. They later moved to Port Acres in 1959 where they raised six children. She resided in Port Acres with her husband of 67 years, H. A. Toutcheque, for 53 years until she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2012.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gustave Touchet, five sisters, Rena Borque, Bella Bergeron, Rita Bodin, Anita Romero and Agnes David, son Aaron Toutcheque and great great granddaughter Olivia Denise Huerta.

Dorothy is survived by her brother, Lagier Touchet, son, Donald Lee Toutcheque, Sr. and his wife Barbara; daughters, Linda Toutcheque, Decuir, Monica Toutcheque, Cynthia (Cindy) Toutcheque and Christine Toutcheque Hornsby Stelly, nine grandchildren, Donald Jr., Sidney , Jeffery, Larry, Lanny, Ashlee, Bridget, Jamie and Kimberly and all their spouses, 26 great grandchildren, Crystal, Aaron, Jeremy, Jaleana, Alyssa, Shaela, Brianna, Shari, Cari, Jeffery Jr., Colton, Christian, Lane, Tyler, Anika, Keegan, Savannah, Arissa, Jacey, Jordan, Kenzie, Haylee, Gabriela, Israel Jr., Erika and Alisa; Five Great great grandchildren, Justin, Brianna, Fernando Jr., Maddie and Jael, two nieces who were like daughters, Susie and Betty and very special friends, Andrew and Joyce Judice , who was like a sister to Dorothy.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 23, 32012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2012, at Little Flower Catholic Church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
