

Earl was born on April 11, 1922, to Ulinore and Martha Guidry. He had lived in Port Arthur for thirty-eight years and in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana for fifty years. Earl was a retired Supervisor for Neches Butane for thirty-seven years and a member of the Catholic faith; he had recently celebrated his 88th birthday on Sunday with his family. Earl loved to tinker with things especially around the house and enjoyed riding on his tractor around the farm; but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
Earl is survived by his three sons, Terry Guidry and his wife Delores of Houston, Ricky Guidry and his wife Christine of Austin and Dale Guidry and his wife Marilyn of Nederland; sister, Thelma Usie of Breaux Bridge; nine grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Guidry who passed away on January 7, 2010 and his brother, Lambert Guidry.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
