

Felecian “Red” Trahan, 81, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born July 24, 1929, in Maurice, Louisiana to Adolph and Olive Trahan. Red has lived in Port Arthur for the past 60 plus years where he was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and was a retired machinist.
Red is survived by his daughter, Rose Garner of Nederland, Texas; son, Rick Trahan of Dixon, Illinois; brothers, Savy Trahan of Groves, Texas, Alcee, Clarence and Robert Trahan all of Louisiana; sister, Fay Young of Louisiana; 2 grandsons, Mark Jones of Houston, Texas and Aaron Trahan of Jainsville, Wisconsin and great grandson, Jason Trahan of Jainsville, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yoland Trahan.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, from 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeremy Bradshaw officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
