

Gustavo de Jesus Rodriguez Hurtado, 45, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2025. Born on August 15, 1980, Gustavo lived a life marked by love, loyalty, and the joy he found in the people closest to him.
Gustavo is survived by his beloved children—his sons, Davis E. Rodriguez Cruz and Ezequiel Rodriguez Lopez, and his daughter, Britany V. Rodriguez Cruz—who were the pride of his heart and the center of his world. He also leaves behind his brothers, Jairo Villarreyna and wife Sharena, and Lesther Rodriguez, who will forever cherish his memory.
A devoted father and brother, Gustavo’s life revolved around family. He was family-oriented in every sense, always ready to cook a meal, share a laugh, or create moments of togetherness. He had a passion for cooking—especially enjoying the eating that followed—and he loved gathering with others to enjoy good food and good company.
Gustavo was known for his social nature and his warm, easy going personality. He enjoyed watching Spanish comedy, filling his home with laughter and light. He also had a deep love for his roosters, taking pride in caring for them and finding joy in the simple moments spent tending to them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doroteo Rodriguez Garcia, and his mother, Olga Hurtado Herrera, who now welcome him home.
Gustavo will be remembered for his big heart, his joyful spirit, and the love he poured into his family every day. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the lives of those who loved him.
Gustavo's final wishes were to be cremated and his ashes to be buried next to his mother in Nicaragua.

Los últimos deseos de Gustavo fueron ser incinerado y sus cenizas enterradas junto a su madre en Nicaragua.
