Hai Le, 62, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Born in Vietnam, Hai later made his home in Port Arthur, where he built a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to his family.
Hai is survived by his beloved wife of fourteen years, Elaine Tran; his sons Jonathan Duong and Dustin Le; his daughters Nhung Olivia Duong, Amanda Tran, Alyssa Tran, Claudia Duong, and Sabrina Duong. He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
A dedicated shrimper for many years, Hai found great pride and joy in his work. He was a man who found peace in nature, whether through his passion for gardening or in the simple pleasure of time spent with his loved ones. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to honor Hai’s life at a visitation on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas. A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church, 801 9th Ave, Port Arthur, Texas, followed by his burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, Texas.
Hai's life was one of dedication, love, and hard work. Though he has left this world, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
