Jose Galvan Ceja

Jose Galvan Ceja, 56, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Medical Center of South East Texas in Port Arthur. He was born on May 16, 1955, in El Flechero, Michoacán Mexico to the late Toribio and Juana Galvan. He was a welder for Mad Ltd., of Port Arthur.

Jose could best be described as a man who was devoted to his family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his children and grandchildren. His children describe him as their best friend. He had a passion for the country and outdoors and dreamed of spending time on the ranch.

A gathering of his family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 09, 2011, and Thursday November 10, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Alicia Ceja and Estela Ceja, and a brother, Juan Ceja.

He is survived by his wife Estela Ceja, his sons, Jose T. Ceja, Alejandro Ceja, Juan C. Ceja and Gustavo Ceja, all of Port Arthur; two daughters, Marisol Ceja and Michelle Ceja of Port Arthur; brothers, Francisco Ceja, Salvador Ceja and Filemon Ceja all of Port Arthur; sisters, Maria Esperanza Ceja, Teresa Ceja and Maria De Jesus Ceja, all of Cotija, Mexico; grandchildren, Giselle Lien Ceja, Jaylen Ceja, Melanie Rocha and Jazlyn Ceja.

Burial will be held in Mexico.
