

Joshua Lee Cormier, 32, of Kingwood, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at HCA Houston Health Care in Kingwood. Joshua was born on July 20. 1989, in Port Arthur, Texas to John Kevin Cormier and Theresa Lynn McCarver. He grew up in Port Acres and attended the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church. Joshua was a technician for Air Gas Services in LaPorte, Texas. He loved to fish and hunt, shooting and collecting guns and was widely considered the “life of the party” no matter where he was as he loved people and they loved him. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Ramirez Cormier of Kingwood; his children, Tyler and Trinity of Kingwood; father, Kevin John Cormier and his wife Jennifer of Hemphill; mother, Theresa Lynn Culverhouse and her husband John of Bridge City, Texas; brothers, Kaleb Cormier and his wife, Katelyn of Orangefield, Ethan Culverhouse of Bridge City; sisters, Megan Cormier of Bridge City; Elyse Pierce of Florida and Brook Couder of Hemphill; his mother and father-in-law, David and K.K. Ramirez of the Highlands; sister-in-laws, Teresa Ramirez of Atascocita, Texas and Cecilia Coppler and her husband John of Crosby; brother-in-law, David L. Ramirez and his Crystal of Groveton,, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Joshua Lee Cormier at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers will be David Ramirez, Taylor Askew, Ethan Culverhouse, Kaleb Cormier, David Bolser and David Ramirez, Jr.
