Laura Savoy Lanclos

Laura was a homemaker and seamstress for over 40 years. She loved to garden and watch birds. She had been a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and was a resident of Port Arthur for over 65 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wesley Savoy in 1957; a second husband, Simon Lanclos in 1987; her parents and 8 sisters.

She is survived by a son, Ragan Lanclos and wife Suzie of Nederland; 2 daughters, Judy Savoy of Beaumont, Roberta Tauzin and husband Dale of Katy, TX; a sister, Dorothy Parker of Neosho, MO; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2011, in Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with interment immediately following in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
