Lilia Mireya Hernandez

Lilia Mireya Hernandez, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Lilia was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lilia is survived by her children, Fabiola Yaneth Rodriguez and her husband Christopher Rodriguez, Cesar Hernandez Jr., Fernando Hernandez and his wife Erika Castro. She is also survived by her siblings: Evangelina Guedea Moreno, Gloria Ibarra Moreno, Consuelo Moreno Silva, and Javier Alberto Moreno.

Lilia was a cherished grandmother to Valeria Yaneth Aguilar, Hazel Rozay Rodríguez, Michael Rey Rodriguez, Christopher Kain Rodriguez, Madison Rose Hernandez, Cesar Gabriel Hernandez, Isabella Hernandez, Rosaly Hernandez, and Kataleya Irasema Hernandez, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cesar Hernandez Leija; her son, Alejandro Hernandez; her parents, Herminio Moreno and Maria De la Luz Lopez; and her sisters, Lourdes Moreno Moreno, Enriqueta Moreno Cueto, and Maria Del Socorro Moreno De Leon.

A gathering of family and friends to honor Lilia’s life will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th Street, Port Arthur, TX 77642.

A Celebration of Lilia's life will follow at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX.

Lilia's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the many lives she touched throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
