Olive Marie Hebert

Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Port Arthur. Olive was born on July 16, 1918 in Sunset, Louisiana to the late Luke and Olivia Babineaux. Olive was one of 13 children in her family. Olive was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring person to all that knew her. She was described as a great cook who took great joy in caring for her family. Her hobbies include gardening and crocheting.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vincent, son, Rabon Luke Hebert and son in law, Nelson Richard.

Olive is survived by her daughter, Maureen Gale Richard of Fannett; sons, Kelly James Hebert and his wife Cheryl of San Antonio; Charles Patrick Hebert and his wife Marilyn of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brothers, John, Curtis and Claude all of Louisiana; sisters Amelia, Ethel and Edalie all of Louisiana; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier- Oberle Funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
