With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our precious baby boy, Omir Giovonney Lancelin, who left us far too soon at just 2 months old on Monday, April 7, 2025. Omir brought boundless joy to all who knew him with his sweet laughter and playful spirit. His infectious smile could brighten any room, and he will forever be remembered for the love and happiness he gave to his family.
Omir was deeply loved by his older sister, Jizelle, who adored him and cherished every moment they spent together. He will be greatly missed by his parents, grandparents, and extended family, all of whom will hold him in their hearts forever.
Although his time with us was brief, Omir’s light will continue to shine brightly in the memories and love of those he touched. Rest in peace, dear Omir. You will never be forgotten.
Omir is survived by his mother O’Nasha Dyson; his father Diantrae Lancelin and his god parents Rosaonta Hogness and Kyle Hogness; his sister Jizelle Jimmerson; his grandparent Mavis Thomas, his grandparent Dedra Brooks, his grandparent Linda Scott, his grandparent Earl Bray and his grandparent Otis Lancelin.
Omir was preceded in death by his grandmother Cora Lee Dupar.
Omir also leaves behind a host of uncles,aunts,cousins and other family members and friends
Omir will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX.
