

The beautiful Paula Dean Ronquille was born October 20, 1946 in Houma, Louisiana to the late Dorothy McCall and the late Paul Dean Hinchee. She gained her wings and took flight with the angels to begin her new journey on May 2, 2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy McCall Ford; father, Paul Dean Hinchee; and other father, Frank Ford; son Devin Reed Taylor; and brother, Scott Bunker.
She was a woman of many accomplishments, journeys, and a lifetime of adventures. She loved fishing, bowling, reading, acting, making friends everywhere she went, traveling, and her coffee. She performed professional acting in the movies "Wooden Watermelons" and "Texas Snowline". She acted in many main stage and dinner shows with BCP, OCP, and PALT. She was the first employee for Belle of Beaumont. She was weather person for KHYS98 and KPAC. She was successful with acquiring the Charles Gongre Scholarship. Then she made the Dean's List for Lamar University, Port Arthur, while also accomplishing the President's List for Lamar University, Port Arthur. She earned an Associate Degree in Psychology from Lamar University, Port Arthur. She also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Substance Abuse Counseling from Lamar University.
She was united in holy matrimony with her soulmate, Jessie Paul Ronquille on August 17, 1978 in Beaumont, TX. She and her husband raised their daughter, Dallas Dean Ronquille, and their son, Devin Reed Taylor.
Her sweet memories will be forever cherished by her husband, Jessie Paul Ronquille; daughters, Dallas and Summer Ronquille; grandson, Skyler Michael; sisters, Christine Eckroat and husband Jack of Oklahoma; and Jacque Ross and husband George of Arizona. Also survived by one other sister, Suzanne Winchell and husband Dale; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Lulu Hagen and late husband John Hagen, Chester Ronquille and wife Velma, Denise Bean and late husband Gordon Bean, Phyllis Thibideaux and husband Troy, and David Ronquille and wife Margaret; and a delightful bunch of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Devoted friends include; Kay and Richard Lene, as well as Julia and her late husband Leonard Toups.
We will be having a Celebration of her Life on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m., to have "cheery, happy talk around the kitchen table", as she was and always will be the life of the party. This will be held at her home, 2977 61st Street, Port Arthur, TX.
