Rickey had worked as a rig consultant in the oilfield business and moved to Port Arthur two and a half years ago from Brookeland. He enjoyed fishing, working in the oilfield, fishing, hunting and especially fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother.
Rickey is survived by his two daughters, Reshell Roy of Beaumont, Jessica Lee and husband Michael of Beaumont; a brother, Alex Roy of San Marcos; his Aunt Linda Eakin of Port Neches; two grandchildren, Jada and Jonah.
The family will be hosting a private Life Celebration service. Cremation is under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur.
