

Robert Allen McClintock age 63, of Port Arthur passed away after a brief but heroic battle with colon cancer on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in Dallas, TX at the residence of his life-long friend David Elliott. He is preceded in death by his parents, John L. McClintock, Sr., and Mary V. Martinez McClintock; grandparents, Tomas and Victoria Martinez, George R. and Pauline McClintock; special uncle, Thomas Martinez; and beloved pet, Sugar.
He is survived by his son, Casey McClintock of Ingleside, TX; daughter, Calley McClintock and Jon Bell; and cherished grandchildren, Kaya Sayge Bell, Quentin Bell, and Zoe Bell all of Georgetown, TX; sister, Linda Haynes and husband Greg of Nederland, TX; brother, J. L. “Sonny” McClintock and wife Margarita (Maggie) of Spring, TX; Cindy Baxter and husband Frank Baxter of Granger, TX; Pedro and Ida Martinez, Anita McClintock of Nederland, TX; many cousins and friends and beloved pet, Iffy.
Robert was a 1968 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School where he was a proud member of the TJ Yellow Jacket football team. He was a long-time resident of the Austin, TX area and self employed in the antique restoration and refinishing business until he returned to Port Arthur in 2002.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., with a Memorial Service to begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th Street Port Arthur, TX.
