Robert Montano

Robert was a lifelong resident of Groves. He loved his children and his momma with all his heart. He was very well known for making people laugh and more importantly, he was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his father, Juan C. Montano.

His survivors include his mother, Maria “Elma” Montano of Groves; a wife, Amy Justice of Groves; 2 sons, Daniel Montano and Joshua Montano both of Orange; 2 daughters. Kaylyn Montano of Ohio, Marie Coon of Vidor; 3 brothers, Juan Montano of Groves, Tony Montano of Groves, Jessie Montano and wife Karla of Little Cypress; 3 sisters, Theresa B. Kirkgard and husband Rodney of Woodville, Maria Frasier of Groves, 1 grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2011, in Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with interment immediately following in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
