Shirley Lawrence Miller

Shirley was born on January 19, 1935 in Port Arthur, Texas to Glenn and Margaret Wise. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved doing crafts, sewing, gardening, fishing, dancing, and shopping.

Her survivors include 3 sons, Neil Lawrence and wife Dala of Illinois, Kenneth Lawrence and wife Laura of Kountze, Gerald Lawrence and wife Kristi of Orange; 3 daughters, Sondra Thurmond of Spring , Susan LaBure and husband Coy of Beaumont, Judy Echols of Port Arthur; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grand children.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place Friday, April 29th from 5 till 8 pm with a Rosary being recited at 6 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday April 30th in the Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Lawrence, Kenneth Lawrence, Neil Lawrence, Dale Lawrence, Brandon Thurmond, Coy LaBure, and Cody LaBure.
