Sony Tran, age 46, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Sony was born October 24, 1975 in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. Sony was a shrimper and a parishioner of The Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church.
Sony is survived by his father, Thanh Tran; sons, Timothy and Hayden; his brothers Minh Tran, Xuan Tran, Soan Tran and Henry Tran and his sisters, Tam Tran, Cuc "Jennifer" Tran, Thinh Tran and Maryanna Tran.
A prayers will be offered at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home for Sony will be held Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Prayers will be offered with recicitation of the holy rosary at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial at the Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church will occur Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 10:00 PM. Sony will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
