Ty Thi Tran

Mrs. Tran devoted her life to God, her late husband, and children.

Survivors include sons, Randy Tran and wife, Thu, of Lumberton; and Anh Luc Tran of Port Arthur; daughters, Christina Tran and husband, Steve; Rachel Tran and husband, Tony; Lexi VanHorn and husband, Elie; Linda Potts and husband, Kevin of Dallas; Suzann Tran and husband, Mike; Annie Tran and husband, Nguyen; and Trang M. Tran. Mrs. Tran also leaves behind twenty-six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren to cherish her memories.

Ty was preceded in death by her parents, Cay and Mui Nguyen; husband, Khang The Tran; sons, Quan (Hien) and Scotty Cuong; and grandson, Bradley.

Rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. followed by a visitation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017, and Friday, June 23, 2017, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur.

A Christian Mass will be Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church in Port Arthur, with entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The Tran family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff of the Southeast Texas Medical Center, Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, and Altus Hospice for their love and compassion in caring for our mother.
