Vickie Theresa Richard Piazza

Vickie Theresa Richard Piazza, age 47 of Groves, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Beaumont, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Services will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home Chapel in Groves, Texas with Pastor Clay Faulk officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home.

Vickie was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 28, 1967 to the late Lawrence Richard and Marilyn Cooper Richard. Vickie was a homemaker and a caretaker for family and others in need of love and care. She enjoyed making candles. Vickie was also a wonderful “Cajun Cook”, who will be missed for her famous Gumbo.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joe Piazza.

Survivors include her two sons, Coby Rogers of Groves, Texas and Beau Piazza and his wife Jodi of Port Arthur, Texas. One daughter, Chantel Piazza of Santa Fe Houston, Texas. Three brothers; Lawrence D. Richard “Bubba Richard” of Houston, Texas, Richard M. Richard of Alabama and David Moreno of Austin, Texas. Two sisters, Susan Huffstetler and her husband Kevin of Port Arthur, Texas and Lynell Richard and Todd Daniels of Beaumont, Texas. Two grandsons, Grphen Piazza and Atlas Abreu; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
