Carmen Marie DiGeorge, age 80, was born on May 28, 1945 to Thomas and Mary in College Point, New York and passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Carmen built a successful career in real estate, where she developed a lifelong passion for homes, architecture, and design. She also loved traveling, especially cruising, and could often be found enjoying the casinos on board, always with a smile and a sense of fun.
She was deeply involved in her community at Harbour Isle West, where she generously gave her time as Secretary on various committees, including Social, Building & Grounds, and Rules. Carmen was also a proud member of Ft. Pierce Elks Lodge 1520, where she contributed to the annual Christmas Toy Drive, a cause that was dear to her heart.
Her love for food and cooking was apparent, and she often showed her love by cooking Italian meals for all around her. She would love when family and friends would gather around the table to share a meal together, and she thrived in being the host of it all.
Above all, Carmen was devoted to her family, a true matriarch and the heart of the family. She loved them unconditionally and was always ready to lend her support, wisdom, and care. In her final months, she lived with her son and his family in Orlando, where she was surrounded by love and comfort.
Carmen is survived by her son Marco and his wife Samantha (her caregiver in her final days), her daughter AnnaMarie and her husband Mike, and her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her love, Ronald.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mary, her brother Costadino, her sister Irene, and her husband and father of her children Leonard.
Carmen will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, humor, and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest making a donation on her behalf to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
