

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Charles was a resident of Ft. Pierce since 1985, moving from Queens Village, NY.
During WWII and the Korean War, he served in the US Navy.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Johnson was a self-employed Electronics handyman for 40 years in the Bronx and Queens, NY.
He was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Katherine Johnson and two sons, John Johnson and Charles Johnson, Jr.
Survivors include two sons Alfred Johnson and his wife Linda of Okeechobee, FL, Dennis Johnson and his wife Regina of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters Christine Zappier of Port St. Lucie, FL, Katherine Hoffman and husband Roger of Ft. Pierce, FL; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM -8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 19, 20013, 9:30AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Ft. Pierce, FL.
