Born in Orlando, FL, May 29, 1996, Derek was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since
1998, moving from Orlando.
He was currently a student of MMI, Orlando (Marine Mechanic Institute) a passion
that he decided to follow. He was a graduate of Treasure Coast High School, Port St.
Lucie, FL, where he was involved with athletics, playing on the football team. He also
played football for the PSL Sharks, loved fishing and a fan of UCF. He had wanted to get
into graphic design, and had shown great promise in that field in high school. His strong
