Ernest Holt

Born in Fall River, MA, Ernest was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1993, moving from Jupiter, FL.

Mr. Holt graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1956 with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Mr. Holt served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator

At the time of his retirement, he was a Project Engineer for Advanced Technology at Pratt Whitney in West Palm Beach, FL where he worked for 34 years.

Ernest was a member of the Indian River Presbyterian Church in Fort Pierce, FL. He was an avid boater, scuba diver, fisherman and Naval Aviator. He was also a member of The Tailhook Assoc. and Naval Aviation Foundation in Pensacola, FL.

Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his first wife Beverly Digdo Holt and a sister Virginia Diggles.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Holt of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Douglas Place Holt of Hutchinson Island, Jensen Beach, FL; daughter, Linda H. Schwartz of Lenoir, NC; two step-sons, Eric Craven of Greensboro, NC, Michael Craven of Burke, VA; and, seven grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Ft. Pierce, FL 34981.

There will be no services.
