

Frank was born in Astoria, New York to Catherine and Charles Sammut on October 15, 1925. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Honeywell in Clearwater, FL. He was proud to have worked on projects for the Space Shuttle, and eventually retired from Honeywell after many years of service. He was a veteran of the Navy and the Air Force. He received the American Theater Medal, the Victory Medal, and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal, Five Stars.
Frank enjoyed playing golf and loved to dance. He often socialized with neighborhood friends. He was a dedicated fan (during the bad years as well as the good) of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had season tickets from their inception. He designed and oversaw the building of a couple of his family homes. Frank was always an early adopter of electronic gadgets and loved to play with the latest computer technologies.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara (Laughead) Sammut. He is survived by his three children Lauren Steadham, Bridget Roudsari, and Frank C. Sammut, as well as his sons-in-law, Linn Steadham (predeceased), Jafar Roudsari, and Bill Exaros, his grand-daughter Nicole Arbuckle, her husband Justin Arbuckle, and great-grandchildren Kate, John, and William Arbuckle. He is also survived by his step-children, Connie Kalter, Donna Barrentine, Jacqueline Coniglio, and David Thomas. And he was “pop pop” to many step grandchildren.
He was a member of Calvary Chapel. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Community Church, on September 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM, located at 3401 NW Federal Hwy, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. An inurnment will take place on a later date at the Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, in Largo, FL.
