George Leonard Carlisle

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a resident of Florida since 1971.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as a General Manager at Allen Service Station in Trenton, NJ from 1960 to 1971. After moving to Florida he was a Manager/Mechanic at Exxon Service Station in Ft. Lauderdale, FL from 1971 to 1972. After that time he was owner/operator of Sunrise Fina Service Station in Sunrise, FL from 1972 to 1991.

Mr. Carlisle was a member of the Charioteers Car Club in Trenton, NJ

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Carlisle of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters, Debra Ann Carlisle of Coral Springs, FL, Nanette Marie Carlisle of Coral Springs, FL; one son, Jon Leonard Carlisle, Sr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren Jon Leonard Carlisle, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, Christopher Allen Winger of Coral Springs, FL; and one brother, Carl Carlisle (Pam) of Archer, FL.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Carlisle.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon, with a Service at 12:00 Noon at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port St. Lucie, FL.
